Webb offers students a rich, cultural education. In addition to core academic courses, all students complete a year-long course in one of the visual or performing arts disciplines – theater arts, chorus, orchestra or art. The Fine and Performing Arts department offers something intriguing and challenging for beginning and advanced artists alike. Drawing, singing, instrumental music, composition, sculpture, electronic music and graphic design are just some of the opportunities students may choose to pursue. And whether it’s a student’s first or thousandth journey into the arts, the goal is always to develop creativity, confidence and self-expression. Many students surprise themselves with talents they never knew existed. Every student discovers something new – something beyond the standard.
