Student Life
Student Handbook 2009 - 2010
Webb offers our boarding students an idyllic campus environment, significant residential experiences, safety and a "home-away-from-home" habitat to enrich both their bodies and minds while living on campus.
With nearly 70% of the students living on campus, The Webb Schools' success is attributed to an amiable family atmosphere, which invites students to participate in school meals, social events, after-school programs and weekend outings.
Students can count on comfortable dorms with common rooms, kitchenette, and laundry facilities. Faculty and senior students supervise the dorms. There are sign-in and sign-out procedures and an enforced "lights out" for freshmen and sophomores.
A few of the year-round dorm-sponsored events include pizza parties, movie nights, and study breaks.
Students are encouraged to decorate their rooms and often bring stereos, computers, and small refrigerators. Because the residential program is such an important part of the spirit of the community, both day and boarding students take advantage of weekend activities, dining hall meals, club activities, student government, and dorm gatherings.
Meals are served in Price Dining Hall, in an atmosphere that encourages enjoyment of good food and good conversation. Most meals are informal buffets with the exception of three family-style dinners a week.
