Viruses, worms, and spyware are now a major issue for everyone who connects to the Internet.
A single user that does not keep his/her machine updated with security patches and anti-virus software can wreak havoc on a network. That’s why it’s essential for all students to read through the technology policies and procedures before they complete the online Student User Agreement. These policies and procedures spell out the requirements for every student who intends to connect a computer to the schools' network. Every student needs to be proactive in maintaining his/her computer in order for the network to be reliable and useful for the entire community.
All students are required to read and abide by the following technology related policies and procedures which are extensions of the schools' Honor Code. When completing the online Student User Agreement, you will be asked if you have read and agree with these policies and procedures. Once you have submitted the Agreement, you will be eligible for your webb.org student email address.
