All applicants to The Webb Schools must take an admission test. We prefer that students take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) but will accept the Independent Schools Entrance Exam (ISEE) results. U.S. applicants to grade 11 may submit results of the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) which is typically administered at their school in the fall of grade 10.
Applicants must take the required admission test between September 2012 and January 2013.
International Applicants
International students must submit SSAT or ISEE scores for grades 9 and 10. Applicants for grade 11 whose first language is not English, must submit results of one of these tests and submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Admitted international students at grade 11 typically score higher than 100 on TOEFL's IBT.
No other tests including SLEP or IELTS will be accepted in lieu of these stated requirements.
All test scores must come to Webb directly from the testing organization. We cannot accept unofficial score reports from the applicant’s family, agents, or consultants.
