On Friday, August 22, our young alumni affinity group Webb15 will host its second annual professional networking mixer in Los Angeles. Last year’s event was a tremendous success with over 50 Webbies in attendance to network with alumni mentors across many fields.
The Los Angeles Times and Wall Street Journal are reporting on the exciting plans taking shape with the health information network in California. The new Cal INDEX will connect nearly 9 million patients with healthcare providers through an online medical records system. Simon Jones '86 is part of the executive team behind the Cal INDEX.
Now in its second year, the Webb@Work program had a busy summer with 17 summer job placements. We were able to share more than 70 internship and shadow day opportunities this year. A big thanks to the alumni and parents who participated in the program.
Alumni, parents, and friends have once again shown tremendous generosity to The Webb Schools. Although our fiscal year just ended on June 30, the early numbers are truly astonishing.

Larry Price '61 joined the peccary trip to Mongolia and the Gobi Desert. Led by Alf Museum Director Don Lofgren, the trip visits sites which contain some of the richest sites for dinosaur fossils anywhere.
