Finally, Ms. Garcia brought her "Viva Latina L.A." course to LACMA for an exhibit on "Surrealist Adventures of Women Artists in Mexico and the United States."

"L.A. Stories" had students working for three days as photojournalists within the urban landscape of L.A. Their task was to develop a theme to their pictures, create a narrative around it, and then present a slideshow at the end of the course.

The "Animal Behavior" course brought students to various animal rescue shelters, including the Second Chance for Love in Templeton, CA. Students got hands-on experience rehabilitating rescue dogs and had a great time doing so.

Dr. Lofgren and Dr. Farke closely examine a 15 million-year-old horse hoof fossil a student found during their "Biostratigraphy" course to Barstow, CA. The foot is an exciting find as it is nearly intact.
