It was a big week of "lasts" for our seniors as the spring musical performed for the last time in Mudd Auditorium, the badminton team made it to the CIF Championships, and advisories held their last Advisory Dinners. Those pictures and more after the jump...

Happiest. Boy. On. Earth. Adam '12 and Coach Coberly represented Webb's boys' volleyball team at the CIF Academic Awards night at Angles Stadium on Tuesday.
The CIF Academic Awards go to the team with the highest GPA in the region. Webb's volleyball, football, and girls' water polo. Pictured on the JumboTron is Steve '12 and Alex '12.

The last Advisory Dinner night was Wednesday night. Ms. Armbruster and her senior girls went down to Claremont Village for dinner.

Los Angeles is known for its world-class cuisine and celebrity chefs. But where do teenagers prefer to go for Advisory Dinner? Wingstop.
Mr. Hastings and his advisory chose to eat in the dining hall, and why not when there was steak, baked potatoes, and Al's cookies being offered?
Mr. Kozden's advisory (plus Kathy) ate the dining hall's steak and potatoes, then ordered take-out from Chipotle, and had a third course of Chinese delivery.

Seniors! The Class of 2012 was treated to a lunch put on by the Alumni Office on Thursday.
David '13, Calvin '15, and Davis '13 all qualified for individual league competitions for golf and played two rounds this week.
Justin '12 and Bryan '12 were pumped for the Track and Field League Finals at Claremont McKenna College on Thursday. A full gallery is available on our Athletics page.
Congratulations to Andy '12 who broke a 1995 Webb record in the triple jump last week with a jump of 44'5".
Congratulations to Miya '13 who broke her own record in the triple jump by leaping 35'7".

Friday was "International Star Wars Day," or as it is said, "May the Fourth Be With You." This is a dry erase sketch that Kasey '12 left for her roommate on their dorm room door. As you can tell, Kasey's artistic mitochlorian count is off the charts.

Webb students took part in the Claremont Volunteer Fair on Saturday.
The spring musical "Into the Woods" was performed by our amazingly talented students this past weekend.
Kudos to Ms. Hamlyn for directing another great musical, the last before Mudd Auditorium is completely renovated this next year.

The Badminton team made it all the way to the CIF Championships this week...
...but fell to a very strong Cerritos High School. Webb's team has gone 30-2 in the last two years, the only losses have come in last year's semi-final game, and this year's Championship loss. That's really impressive!
