Congratulations to Rose Lewis '09 for winning the 100m Hurdles at the 2012 SCIAC Track & Field Championships held on April 27-28 at the University of Redlands. Rose also competed in the 400m Hurdles and the 4x100 and 4x400 relays. She still holds the VWS record for the 400m dash. Daughters strong! Watch a video of the SCIAC 100m hurdles final.

SCIAC is the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, which consists of nine schools: California Institute of Technology, Occidental College, Pomona College, University of Redlands, Whittier College, California Lutheran University, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges, and University of La Verne to comprise the current membership. (Pomona College now has become Pomona-Pitzer Colleges for athletics.)
