Congratulations to Andrew Lantz ’10! On April 7 at the Duke Invitational, Andrew broke the Men’s Track and Field 800m record at Davidson College, with his impressive time of 1:50.87.

This athletic performance was a personal best for Andrew by .88 seconds. It was also a total of 2.25 seconds faster than his high school record, of which he still holds today. To view Webb’s Track and Field records, click here.

Andrew placed 6th of 9 in the fast heat, and 6th of 37 overall. It was a highly competitive Division I race with the top six runners finishing only 3 seconds apart.

Sophomore Andrew now holds three records at Davidson: the outdoor 800m (1:50.87), the indoor 800m (1:52.96) and the indoor mile (4:12.49).
