Webb swim team had their final meet on April 28. Though they were a few swimmers short, they still managed to get fourth place overall, ending the 2012 swim season. Austin Talleur '12 and Sam Chen '12 were the spotlights of the meet. While they earned two silver medals together in the relay, Talleur earned one gold medal in the 50-yard freestyle championship heat, one silver medal in the 100-yard freestyle, and Chen earned a bronze medal in both the 100-yard butterfly championship heat and another bronze medal in the 100-yard breaststroke. The season might be over but some of these swimmers still have a chance at CIF and we hope they make it. It’s been a great season and though we’re saying goodbye to the seniors, we look forward to the juniors and sophomores taking control next year as the seniors pass down their legacy.
