Taylor Stockdale, Head of Schools, just returned from a two-week trip to Asia to meet with alumni and parents to share good news from campus and to welcome new incoming students to the Webb family. The 14-day trip included stops in six different cities in three countries.

Hong Kong: Wednesday, April 25

A reception was held at the Island Shangri-la for some 25 alumni and parents. The event was aided by the work of alumnus Joseph Poon '88, and attendees included Jonathan Lau '02, Ben Chen '02, Paul Lai '87, King Lai '82, Chapman Lam '89, Mark Feng '07, Patrick Ma '87, Ina Shum '90 and many others.

Shenzhen, China: Thursday, April 26

A dinner party for 30 guests was held at the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen for alumni, current families, and incoming families.

Jakarta, Indonesia: Friday/Saturday, April 27-28

An intimate visit was had with the Pandji family and an incoming family.

Shanghai, China: Monday, April 30

A dinner party for 20 guests hosted by Mrs. Wei Yi Chen and Mr. Li Tian Yang was held for current families, alumni (including Andy Wu '89, Sean Lee '05 and Simon Ou '06) and several new incoming families.

Beijing, China: Thursday, May 3

A dinner party for 20 guests hosted by the Han family at their impressive Han Royal Garden Hotel, included current families, alumni, and several incoming families.

Seoul, Korea: Saturday, May 5

The largest gathering of all was led by Mr. Bryan Kim and his wife Ms. Hyunmi Chang and hosted by Mrs. Ie Sook Kim at her restaurant Hanilkwan. Nearly 40 guests (including parents, incoming parents and alumni) enjoyed a great evening together.
