Horses were on campus during Monday's Club Fair. Students will have the opportunity to volunteer their time with aging and disabled horses through one of the clubs.

Cameras, cameras everywhere! I was lucky to have the opportunity to work with the Journalism class on Tuesday to teach them some photography skills - full story on the Campus Life Blog on the homepage of Webb.org.

The WSC Honor Pledge ceremony was on Wednesday. More than two dozen boys signed the pledge book.

Meanwhile, the VWS classes held their Advisory dinners. Ms. Kapp provided a picnic outside of her campus home for her group of students.

Kowin, Missy, and Richard, all sophomores, tested some ideas for their upcoming robotics challenge during afternoon activities.

Freshmen girls worked on their skits for Ancient World History in the walkway between the library and science building.

Abhi '13 found a nice place to work at the end of the stacks in the library.

Mr. Hamilton's E-block physics class worked on a lab this week where the students had to figure out how fast they could throw a baseball. Sadly, no undiscovered talent for the baseball or softball teams revealed themselves as a result.

Mongo Hill proved to be quite the challenge during Thursday's home track meet as temperatures soared into the 100's. Thankfully, Mr. Potash was on-hand to motivate the runners as they came up the hill.

Jessie '14 found herself chasing her own shadow on the downhill portion of the race. Webb's XC team is now ranked 8th in the league thanks to the teams performing so well on Thursday.

With Mudd's blue construction barrier serving as a backdrop, Ms. Garcia's Spanish class acted out skits during Friday's class.

The students formed a tunnel for the JV volleyball team before Friday's game against Webb rival, Pasadena Poly.

BOOM! Varsity beat Poly 3-2 and for the first time in Webb history!

Webb had a great turn-out in Portland with over 20 alumni and friends gathering at the Irving Street Kitchen. Many thanks to Dodd Fisher '61 who generously sponsored the event. Five decades of alumni were represented!

Fifteen members of the Class of '72 gathered at the Seventh Mountain Resort in Bend, Oregon, to celebrate their 40th reunion. People flew in from Virginia, Colorado, Utah, and California.

Coincidentally, just as the week started with horses, it also ended with some. Mrs. Walker brought students out to Chino Hills for some riding as part of the weekend activity program.
