Ms. Kim's dog, Morty, helped the boys' cross country team do their stretches after Monday's practice.

Last weekend, Mrs. James took students to Long Beach to work with Heal the Bay and be part of a beach clean-up. By the end of the day more than 400 pounds of garbage was collected. Nice job, everyone!

Also last weekend, Mr. Walker brought a few students sailing.

The Admission team posed for a group photo on Tuesday.

Members of ASB hung a promo poster for the rekindled event, ASB Ball. More than 300 students signed up for the off-campus dance, and a great time was had by all.

Seniors Mallory and Jack filmed a video introduction for the Admission office on Chandler Field. Starting this fall, prospective students will be able to submit video interviews to the Admission office - stay tuned for more details.

Hooper Student Center is home to just about every group on campus now that Mudd Auditorium is offline this year. The Orchestra had a wonderful rehearsal on Wednesday, easily making for a very relaxed photographic atmosphere.

The Heifer International cow got her semi-annual washing this week from some members of the Community Service Club.

Tinnie '13 rehearsed some lines from the upcoming production of "Antigone."

Looks like the afternoon fitness period is starting to pay off for Ziad '14.

Boys' water polo split the week with one win and one loss.

Mr. Caldwell took a moment during advisory this week to explain that students need to remember not to take everything so seriously and have some fun in their youth. Ian, Ryan, and J.R. took his advice very seriously, naturally.

Afternoon basketball clinic is made all the more enjoyable by Mr. Duque's humorous banter with the students.

Girls' JV and varsity practiced Friday afternoon for a Webb-hosted tournament on Saturday. The varsity took home the big trophy and came in first place - congrats!

Coincidentally, I happened to catch Davis '13 getting his senior portrait taken at the Chapel on Saturday afternoon.

And in what has become something of a tradition during the Alamo open dorms, Mr. Quick set up the gigantic waterslides down the lawn in the center of the dorm.
