K. Forrest Beanum '93 in Huffington Post

October 16, 2012

Writing for The Huffington Post on Monday, October 15, alumnus and Senior Vice President for CODA Automotive, Forrest Beanum ’93, pleaded for the U.S. government to create what he called a “long-term energy strategy” that would address the fact that “our dependence on oil weakens our nation, economy and security.”

Beanum is the former National Press Secretary for U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Developmet, Henry G. Cisneros, and currently the SVP of Government Relations and External Affairs for CODA, a privately-based company in Southern California that “designs, manufactures and sells electric vehicles and lithium-ion battery systems.”

Beanum’s commentary in full is available below.
