Alix Rosenthal ’91 was an active participant in student life at Webb, holding various ASB positions and serving as a member of the Honor Cabinet. In 2002, Alix got her start in San Francisco politics with her appointment to the newly-created Elections Commission. Later, she worked as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Oakland and served as General Counsel to the Oakland Army Base Redevelopment Project. In June 2010, Alix was elected to the San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee, the governing body of the San Francisco Democratic Party, where she serves as its Treasurer.
So when it came time to find speakers for Webb’s Election 2012 Symposium Day, Alix Rosenthal was a natural fit. Webb students learned about many facets of the political process during the day-long event, including a presentation and workshop about running for office and women in leadership by Ms. Rosenthal.
