Coach Belville may be a first-year Webb coach, but she is far from to new to the sport. Belville played at Whittier, USC and Durham University. Her coaching resume includes Ventura College, Ayala High School and many club programs. For this season, she is challenging her athletes to play their best game regardless of the scoreboard.
Belville sees four strengths on Webb’s team: defense, communication, respect and heart.
“When it comes to the overall job of being a coach, the philosophy is: Work hard, respect and believe in yourself, respect and believe in your teammates and practice and play with heart,” she said.
