Professional focus: I guide Alf Museum programs, including our advanced research students and afternoon volunteers. I also teach in the Webb science department. Professionally, I focus on research into fossil mammal carnivores from 40,000 years ago to 40 million years ago.

I hold Bachelor of Arts degrees in integrative biology and comparative literature from UC Berkeley, a Master of Science in ecology and evolutionary biology from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in ecology and integrative biology from UCLA.
