Professional focus: I teach earth and life sciences, including paleontology.

Scholarly or professional activities: I hold a B.S. in geology with a minor in biology. My M.A. is in education. I served as a paleontological preparator and gallery interpreter at the National History Museum of Los Angeles and as an excavator at the La Brea Tar Pits and George C. Page Museum. I am also a runner who has proudly completed three Los Angeles marathons and one San Francisco marathon.
