Professional focus: Teach Foundations of Civilization in the ninth-grade core. I have also taught a few different electives in the department, including Advanced Studies in Fascism, Advanced Studies 20th Century Latin America, Advanced Studies Politics and Culture of the Border, etc. I created the honors course Postcolonial Film and Media Studies.

Past sports activities include coaching WSC and VWS JV soccer.

I started supervising the Community Service program in 2020-21. My areas of teaching expertise are in film studies, postcolonial literature and theory, etc.

Scholarly or professional activities: I am pursing a Ph.D. in education at Claremont Graduate University focused on research interests within education and other interdisciplinary areas. I hope that I will be able to focus my future research on issues of equity within the independent school realm. I also have interests in education that go beyond the specific independent school space.

Saturday routine: If there is EPL, I get up to watch the matches I want to watch. Maybe go for a run after or before. Not really one for routines.
