Professional focus: Chair of the World Languages Department; I teach Chinese 1 and 2 as well as Spanish 1 and 2. I am the lead class advisor for the WSC Class of 2022 and I coach WSC/VWS JV tennis.

Scholarly or professional activities: I have a passion for travel and language teaching/learning. I have taught Spanish, Chinese and German, and enjoy learning French and Korean. My undergraduate degree is in German studies with a minor in history. My first master’s is in German studies and my second is in teaching. I am also engaged in the National Association of Independent Schools’ Equity Design Lab, which is designed to ¬†develop models for addressing challenges and opportunities related to equity and social justice inside and out of the classroom.
