Professional focus: Chair of the World Languages Department; I teach Chinese 1 and 2 as well as Spanish 1 and 2. I am the lead class advisor for the WSC Class of 2022 and I coach WSC/VWS JV tennis.

Scholarly or professional activities: I have a passion for travel and language teaching/learning. I have taught Spanish, Chinese and German, and enjoy learning French and Korean. My undergraduate degree is in German studies with a minor in history. My first master’s is in German studies and my second is in teaching. I am also engaged in the National Association of Independent Schools’ Equity Design Lab, which is designed to  develop models for addressing challenges and opportunities related to equity and social justice inside and out of the classroom.
