Professional focus: I hold a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Universidad del Tachira, Venezuela, and an M.E. in instruction and technology from American Intercontinental University, Florida. I have also completed all coursework for an M.S. in Mathematics from Emporia State University. I teach math and computer science and will co-coach the Robotics teams.

Scholarly or professional activities: I love to develop new and exciting classes. I  created the computer science and engineering program at Greenhill School, Texas, where I have worked for the last eight years. I look forward to hearing from the students and seeing how we develop new and exciting learning opportunities here at Webb.

Grew up: San Cristobal, Venezuela

Favorite spot at Webb: The whole campus is beautiful.

Favorite music or musician/band: I love the sound of silence!

Favorite book or author: I love to find new and interesting books to read. I get audiobooks, so I am always “reading” while driving. My latest driving books have been The Wastelands, Where the Crawdads Sing, State of Terrors, and the hardcover book Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro

Favorite TV show or movie: I do not watch TV shows per se, but I enjoy watching movies on Netflix or Prime. I appreciate all kinds of movies, but comedies are my favorites.

Typical Saturday routine: Saturday is my adventure day. I look for a new hike, a new little town or a beach and go to explore and find a new food adventure.
