Things kicked off in the third inning after Stephan Park '18 caught the ball for the third out and led the team into the fourth inning, where Eddie Moreira '19 was able to steal second base. Then in the sixth inning, Park hit an RBI, allowing Moreira to score a run and get Webb ahead 1-0. After Moreira went to bat, he got 2 RBI singles, leading Cunningham and Viramontes to score and bringing the total up to 3-0. Alex Cardenas '20 got a hit and moved Moreira up to second, and finally, a hit by Ryan Bridges '20 led to the bases being loaded with Moreira on third, Cardenas on second, and Bridges on first. After a change in pitchers for Saddleback on the bottom of the sixth, Pederson got an RBI, helping Moreira to get the score and bring it up to 4-0. Although the game ended with a Webb lead, 4-0, they, unfortunately, had to forfeit the game to Saddleback per CIF rules, leading this to be the closing game for the WSC baseball season.
