Many Thanks for Your Support!

Thank you to the 1,500 alumni, parents, past parents, grandparents and friends who enabled Webb to end the 2018-19 Webb Fund year successfully on June 30. Your generosity helped The Webb Fund to raise over $1.9 million, plus additional support for endowment and capital improvements, bringing total gifts to $7.9 million, including 13 new estate gifts, which has become an ever-increasing and important part of our advancement program. Over 799 alumni, spanning nine decades, participated with gifts received from nearly every class between 1937 and 2018. Thank you for your contributions!

We would also like to thank the groups who reached 100% participation, including:
  • Board of Trustees
  • Museum Board of Trustees
  • Alumni Council
  • Parent Class Agents
“The success of our schools is due to the steadfast support and incredible generosity of the Webb community,” remarked Head of Schools Taylor Stockdale. “The campus, faculty and students directly benefit from your thoughtful gifts, including increased financial aid for families, physical plant renovations and improvements, as well as strengthening our commitment to student support and diversity. For the 2019-20 school year, we are thrilled to launch the major renovation of the Hooper Community Center, which will include new north and south entrances to the building, air conditioning, improved lighting, the installation of a community café, the creation of new and enhanced community gathering spaces, improved technology for campus and student events and a new student services center. These improvements to a vital campus resource are just one of the many ways we plan to enrich the experiential learning of Webb students in the years ahead. Your gifts enrich and influence every part of Webb.”

The Advancement Office would like to extend a special thank you to our alumni and parent class agents, reunion chairs, regional representatives and student volunteers who work diligently throughout the year to cultivate and grow The Webb Fund. As we move closer to Webb’s Centennial in 2022, this enthusiastic and genuine support provides the foundation for Webb today and for Webb’s second century.
