Black Alumni Support BSU and ESVI Students

We wish to thank and recognize the six alumni who participated in an informal conversation with black students and faculty on February 3rd. This gathering was organized by the Black Student Union (BSU) and Empowering Student Voices Initiative (ESVI). Alumni talked about their student experiences and some of the challenges they faced with little representation at Webb. DEI Coordinator John Choi said afterward, “The students and faculty mentioned how encouraging and powerful the conversations were. They would love to make this a tradition.”
