  • Step 1: Submit the Online Inquiry

    Please complete before scheduling a campus visit and/or interview. Completing the Online Inquiry will provide you with the login credentials required to later complete and submit an application, should you choose to apply.  These same login credentials will allow you to access your WebbPage, an online portal that contains your individualized checklist for the application process, and helps direct you to useful information about Webb.  The Online Inquiry asks for basic information regarding the student, and instructs us where to send relevant information about Webb.

  • Step 2: Schedule Your Admission Test

    Register to take the required standardized admission test. Students may choose one of the following:

    Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT)
    Independent Schools Entrance Exam (ISEE)

    Priority round applicants must take the required admission test between October and January. Select testing dates are available for the SSAT at Webb's campus between October and January. Registration for the test may be completed through the SSAT website. Test locations are available in various locations, found by using the "Find an SSAT Test Location" feature on the homepage of the SSAT website.  
  • Step 3: Schedule Your Campus Visit (Tour & Interview)

    Your campus visit is an important part of the application process. Applicants and their parents are invited to Webb to tour campus, so that you can get a feel for what we are all about.  During your campus visit, you may expect the following:
    • Walking Tour of Campus
    • Student Interview with Admission Staff
    • Parent Meeting with Admission Staff
    A personal interview is required of all applicants. While on-campus interviews are preferred, we will conduct Skype interviews. Interviews must be scheduled by January 15 and conducted by January 31 in order to receive a March 10 decision. Please note: You are encouraged to schedule your campus visit (tour and interview) early in the Fall, as times may fill up quickly.   • Step 4: Submit Your Application

    Complete the Webb online application, which includes:
      • Short responses completed by the student
      • Short responses completed by the parent
      • Current English and Math teacher recommendations (to request recommendations, enter the teacher’s email address in the space provided in the “Recommenders” section of the online application)
      • Recommendation from the principal or counselor.  Enter the email address for each recommender; this recommendation contains a request for grades including the current 1st term of this year, and the final transcript from the previous school year.  Note: You will be required to provide a different email address for each recommender.  
    • You will be asked to pay the $75 fee by credit card once you have pressed "Submit" on the application.
  • Step 5: (Optional) The Character Skills Snapshot

    An integral part of the education at Webb focuses on moral courage, leadership and character.  The Character Skills Snapshot gives us richer holistic information to make admission decisions beyond just grades and test scores.

    For students who take the SSAT, there is no charge to take The Snapshot. Once registered for the SSAT, access to The Snapshot can be accessed through your SSAT portal.

    Students planning to take the ISEE may register for the Snapshot on There is a $25 fee for ISEE test takers.

    The Snapshot is recommended, but not required.
Webb is committed to sustainability. Therefore, we ask that you not send additional materials i.e. certificates, letters, portfolios, etc. Your accomplishments and activities should be included in your student statement.

NOTE: The Webb Schools does not currently accept the SSAT Standard Online Application (SAO) or The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) Common Application.
