Testing Requirements

Webb requires the TOEFL along with SSAT or ISEE. Webb’s TOEFL code is 1793.

International students admitted to Webb typically score 100 or better on TOEFL's IBT.

We accept no substitutions to this requirement unless TOEFL is not offered in the candidate's country. In this rare instance, we will accept the IELTS in place of TOEFL.

SLEP results are not accepted under any circumstance.

All applicants to The Webb Schools are required to take a standardized admission test. For priority round consideration, applicants need to complete the admission test between September and January in the year in which they are applying.

Applicants to Grade 9 or 10

Students may take either:
Applicants to Grade 11
Applicants may submit results from the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT), in lieu of the  SSAT or ISEE.
Non-Native English Speaking Applicants

Our test codes are:
  • SSAT (8080)
  • ISEE (050600)
  • TOEFL (1793)
All test results must come to Webb directly from the testing company. We will not accept score reports from the applicant’s family, agents, or consultants.
