As Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations, Laura Wensley manages the development office and oversees the alumni relations program. She works closely with the Alumni Council, a 35-member international alumni leadership group, and over 100 volunteers aimed at strengthing the Webb network worldwide. She has been with The Webb Schools since 2003.
Laura holds a bachelor's of Music degree from the University of British Columbia. Previously she worked as the director of annual giving at Western University of Health Sciences, the founding executive director for the Friends of the Junior Arts Center in Barnsdall Art Park, and a production assistant for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
She was a faculty member for the CASE Summer Institute for Independent Schools at Boston University and was on the planning commitee for the 2018 CASE-NAIS Conference. She has been a guest speaker at several conferences including CASE-NAIS, CASE VII, and the California Advancement Partnership of Schools.
Laura and her husband Adam are the proud parents of two Vivian Webb School graduates, Miya class of '13 and Dylan class of '17. She resides in Alta Loma, CA.
Amara Berry ’12 truly embodies what it means to think boldly, mindfully and creatively. In October 2017, she was invited to give a Tedx Talk in Providence, Rhode Island, where she spoke on the legacy of her grandparents, how their work inspired her and the incredible work she is doing with our youth through The Sparkle Program.
We are pleased and excited to announce the appointment of Jennifer Liu as Webb’s Director of Parent Relations and Special Events effective November 1. In this position, Liu will oversee our parent relations program, which serves more than 750 current parents worldwide and an active volunteer network through our Affiliates parent organization.
