Vivian Webb School Volleyball’s Jordan Fuelling signs with University of Hartford

Frank Dariano
The Fuelling family is no stranger to Webb Volleyball, as Jordan’s two older sisters, Madison ’11 and Megan ‘15 played for the Gauls and went on to play college volleyball. But Jordan says signing with Hartford is a milestone for her family, “I’m the only person in my bloodline that’s going on to play division one athletics, my entire family played volleyball and I had a lot of help from both sisters.”
Fuelling says when she visited The University of Hartford it “felt like Webb, the athletics department supports everyone there, everyone goes to everyone else’s games, I will be a part of a bigger family.” Having only known life in Southern California, she says she also wanted to experience “a different atmosphere.” She plans to pursue a degree in public health or physical therapy. She verbally committed to Hartford on May 9th, 2016.
Jordan finished the 2016 season as the Webb’s leader in kills (261), digs  (268), and aces (56). She served as team captain for the Gauls, who finished the season 10-16 and were eliminated in the second round of the CIF Division Seven Tournament. Jordan has also played club volleyball for Forza 1 Volleyball in Ontario, and will play this year for Pacific Juniors Volleyball Club in Claremont.
Jordan will sign her National Letter of Intent to The University of Hartford on Friday, November 11th at noon in a ceremony on the Webb campus.
