Mark Shpall '86 Announced as new Head of School at de Toledo
Mark Shpall '86 was announced as the new Head of School of de Toledo High School, effective July 1, 2018. During this upcoming school year, Mark will serve as Head of School Designate, working closely with the current Head of School to develop a smooth transition. Mark was chosen from a national pool of candidates and was appointed with the enthusiastic support from the search committee.
Mark was a founding faculty member of de Toldeo High School and has served its community tirelessly ever since. Throughout his career at de Toledo, he has held numerous positions: AP Government Teacher, 11/12 Grade Dean, Director of Community Programming, Coordinator of CAIS/WASC Accreditation, Dean of Students, and many more.
Mark earned his BA from UC Santa Barbara, his JD from USC, and his MA in Education from Pepperdine. A dedicated Webb alumnus, he has served as a reunion chair and class agent for many years. He also spoke at Sophomore Career Evening in 2016.
