Head Baseball Coach Jeff Stodgel Reaches 100th Win
Over Spring Break Jeff Stodgel collected his 100th win as head coach of the Webb baseball program. The monumental 1-0 win came over long-time rival Rio Hondo Prep. As coach Stodgel said after the game, “Much of the credit goes to the players and coaches I’ve worked with over the years, especially Brian Killian who has been on my staff for every game since I became the head coach in 2010.”
Director of Athletics Steve Wishek added, “Of course, Jeff has done a tremendous job with the team and his influence on the program and its upward trajectory since he took over cannot be overstated.”
Since taking the helm of the baseball program in 2010, Stodgel has led Webb to two League Championships and four trips into CIF playoffs. Throughout his tenure, Webb players have earned 22 All-League selections, 2 League MVPs, and 9 All-CIF.
Please join us in congratulating coach Stodgel on this tremendous milestone win!
Amara Berry ’12 truly embodies what it means to think boldly, mindfully and creatively. In October 2017, she was invited to give a Tedx Talk in Providence, Rhode Island, where she spoke on the legacy of her grandparents, how their work inspired her and the incredible work she is doing with our youth through The Sparkle Program.
