S. David Webb ’53, PhD, is a Distinguished Research Curator Emeritus of Vertebrate Paleontology at the Florida Museum of Natural History and a Distinguished Research Professor of Zoology and Geology at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
His honors include a Guggenheim Fellowship to study in European museums and visiting professorships at Yale University and the Field Museum in Chicago. He is also a past President of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology.
