Bob Koster ’56 is a noted producer, production manager and assistant director who worked on a number of popular Hollywood projects in the 60s, 70s and 80s including the TV series War and Remembrance, and the major motion picture, Hello Dolly, with Barbra Streisand. His Budget Book for Film and Television is the standard text in production management at UCLA, AFI, and several universities in Europe.
Koster currently teaches film history at UCLA, Cal State University Channel Islands, and the University of Bielefeld in Germany. Previously he has taught film and television production for UCLA and USC.
