Recognized by the Legal Times magazine as one of 30 "visionaries" who "helped turn Washington's legal and lobbying community into an international powerhouse," Charles Work ’58 is senior counsel in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP, in the Washington, DC office. He is the former head of the firm’s Litigation Department, as well as its Regulation and Government Affairs Department and was the Partner-In-Charge of the Washington, DC office from 1983 to 1997.
Work also has been an Assistant U.S. attorney, Deputy Administrator of the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration (appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate) and winner of the Rockefeller Award for Public Service.
