Kimball McCloud ’67

Kimball McCloud ’67 lives in Las Vegas, where he is president and CEO of Mitsubishi Cement Corporation. He went on to Menlo College and Stanford University, where he earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in geology, after graduating from Webb, but remained in close contact with the schools. McCloud's burgeoning career in the cement industry took him out of Southern California for a time, but he joined the Alumni Association after returning to the L.A. area in 1984, becoming its president from 1989 to 1991. From 1991 to 2006, he was a member of the Board of Trustees, he served as Chairman of the Board from 2000 to 2004 and served as Alumni Council President from 1989 to 1991. In fall 2017, he was recognized with the Colborn Distinguished Service Award for his service and dedication to the schools

His daughters, Casey Sage ’95 and Ashley Buchanan ’96 attended Vivian Webb School, and his brothers, Kelly '70, Mark '71, and James '80, are graduates of the Webb School of California. McCloud's wife, Claire McCloud, joined the Affiliates board, becoming its president from 1994 to 1996. She later joined the Board of Trustees, serving from 2006 to 2016, and currently serves as a life trustee.
