Nick Wechsler ’67 began his career as a lawyer, moving into the entertainment industry as a talent manager for musicians, including The Band's guitarist Robbie Robertson.
Among the films he has produced or executive produced include Sex, Lies and Videotape, 1991 Golden Globe winner The Player, 2006 Oscar-nominated North Country, 2007 Cannes Main Competition Selection We Own the Night, Requiem for a Dream and The Time Traveler's Wife. In 2005, he established Nick Wechsler Productions to focus primarily on development and production.
Before then, Wechsler was the founder and co-chairman of pioneering management and production company Industry Entertainment.
