Wendin D. Smith '89, PhD is the founder of an international consultancy, supporting public and private sector clients in the nuclear energy, threat reduction, and environmental remediation fields. She has supported the U.S. Departments of Energy and Defense in nonproliferation and threat reduction programs in the former Soviet States. In the 1990's, Smith served as Director of the Moscow-based U.S. Information Agency's American Center, and supported the administration of Freedom Support Act programs which sponsored the study of former Soviet students in the United States.
Smith received her PhD and Master's degree from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
