Alix Rosenthal '91 is the Vice President of Compliance at Lyft, an on-demand transportation company based in San Francisco. Previously she was General Counsel and Director of Government Affairs at Sidecar, another ride-sharing business.
For over a decade, Alix has practiced law and served in local politics in the Bay Area. She has served as President of the San Francisco Elections Commission, Deputy City Attorney for the City of Oakland and as a Vice Chair of the San Francisco Democratic Party. Before joining Sidecar, Alix ran a law practice in San Francisco, assisting clients with such issues as regulatory compliance, campaigns and environmental law.
Alix has a BA from Northwestern University and a JD from University of Virginia School of Law.
