Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong ’93 is a judge in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Previously, Maame served as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, a government foreign aid agency. She held several positions at the U.S. Department of Justice from 2007 to 2015, including Counselor to the Attorney General, Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General, Deputy Assistant Attorney General of the Consumer Protection Branch, Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General of the Civil Division and Trial Attorney in the National Courts Section of the Civil Division’s Commercial Litigation Branch. She was an associate at Morrison and Foerster LLP from 2002 to 2007.
She received her JD from Yale Law School and her BA from Harvard University. Her senior year at Webb, Maame was the VWS Valedictorian.
Amara Berry ’12 truly embodies what it means to think boldly, mindfully and creatively. In October 2017, she was invited to give a Tedx Talk in Providence, Rhode Island, where she spoke on the legacy of her grandparents, how their work inspired her and the incredible work she is doing with our youth through The Sparkle Program.
We are pleased and excited to announce the appointment of Jennifer Liu as Webb’s Director of Parent Relations and Special Events effective November 1. In this position, Liu will oversee our parent relations program, which serves more than 750 current parents worldwide and an active volunteer network through our Affiliates parent organization.
