The Biology of Sleep: Why Teenagers Need to Stay Up Late and Get Up Later
According to the American Academic of Pediatrics, middle and high school starts times should be 8:30 a.m. or later. The sleep patterns of American adolescents was the topic of recent national conference where experts seemed to be in wide agreement--teenagers need more sleep, and sleep times that fit with their own biology. Webb swimmers finished their 2018 season in championship style last week. The rundown: two days, two proud coaches (Ken Rosenfeld & Tom Jurczak), seven broken/re-broken school records, and one Vivian Webb CIF champion (the first individual swimming CIF champion in VWS history)!
