Webb Alumni Council Welcomes New President, Members

Jessica Rice '12
From Webb alumni who became Webb parents to an alumna who was recognized for her commitment to education and serving others, we are proud to announce the new leadership and members of the 2017-18 Alumni Council.

With the election of new members, effective July 1, the council of over 30 members represents alumni from six decades living across the U.S. and around the world in locations such as Beijing, Portland and Seoul.

As these changes went into effect, Rahmi Mowjood ’90 stepped down after two consecutive terms as president. He will remain on the council as a non-voting member, and has joined the Board of Trustees.

Doug Gregg ’66, who took over as president, said he is humbled by his new assignment. He is looking forward to furthering the schools' goals and traditions, and wants to keep striving for an equal representative balance of Webb School of California and Vivian Webb School alumni on the council.

"For the short term, I'd like to explore establishing an Alumni Council Alf Museum Affinity group and to keep asking ourselves what can we do better in representing all of our alumni and the schools," Gregg said.
