Week of Sports, October 30-November 4

WSC Football
Last Thursday the Gauls played their last league game against Fairmont Preparatory School. Webb’s defense was strong with tackles lead by Simon Dawson '19 (13 tackles), Ryan Place '18 (9), Jeffrey Ran '18 (7), Chris Haliburton '20 (7), Zach “Bobi” Hamman '18 (7), and Indiana Viramontes '21 (7). Touchdowns were received by Nick Johnson '19 (2 touchdowns), Ran (1), Chris Nance '21 (1), Dawson (1), and J.J. Cunningham '19 (1). Touchdowns were rushed by Johnson (1 touchdown) and Place (1). Luke Gonzales '19 earned the team 7 kicking points, bringing the score up to 55-6, in favor of the Gauls. Webb will move on to play their first CIF game in 4 years against California Military Institute on Friday, November 10, Damien High School, 7:30 p.m. —Maddie Stoddard '18
