The Webb Schools and the Raymond M. Alf Museum are affiliated with a host of regional and national organizations dedicated to excellence in education, diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as academic research and the advancement of human knowledge. These affiliations strengthen Webb’s delivery of an unmatched academic and personal growth experience for our students.

A Better Chance (ABC) – A Better Chance is a  national organization that assists academically talented youth of color via access to rigorous and prestigious educational opportunities for students in grades 6-12.

Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (AISAP) – AISAP is the primary resource and leading advocate for the community of independent school admission and enrollment management professionals.  AISAP meets the needs of and serves as a transformative resource for admission and enrollment managers.

California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS)CAIS is an organization representing approximately 200 elementary, middle and secondary schools in California.

California Teacher Development Collaborative (CATDC) CATDC is a dynamic consortium of over 150 independent schools committed to providing educators and leaders opportunities to collaborate, learn and grow.

Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund: DMSF offers aid so help eighth-grade students with potential, but whose families lack financial resources, attend tuition-based college preparatory high schools.

Gender Spectrum – Gender Spectrum works with organizations to create gender sensitive and inclusive environments for all children and teens.

National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) – NAIS is the largest national organization representing independent schools and is a valuable resource for parents considering independent school information and application for financial aid.

Private School Axis: Founded in 2020, the Los Angeles-based organization helps families under-served students of color to navigate the application process and supports students during the transition to independent school and throughout the academic year.

The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) – The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) is the public voice for college-preparatory boarding schools and the central resource for boarding school education. It serves roughly 300 boarding schools across the United States, Canada, and abroad.

Western Boarding Schools Association (WBSA) – The Western Boarding Schools is a consortium of forty of the strongest college preparatory schools in the Western U.S. and Canada.

Independent School Alliance (ISA) The Independent School Alliance is a leading organization in private school admissions counseling and placement, founded by its member schools for the purpose of placing underrepresented students at the elementary and secondary levels.

Inspiring Young Minds: IYM provides guidance and awareness to underserved youths of the opportunities at independent high schools across the U.S.

Oliver Scholars: Oliver Scholars prepares high-achieving Black and Latino students from underserved New York City communities for success at top independent schools.

Parents League of New York: PLNY helps thousands of families navigate the application process to independent schools across the country.

SEEDS – SEEDS is a nonprofit organization that serves motivated, high-achieving, low-income students for admission to private schools across the country.

Young Eisner Scholars: YES identifies promising students from underserved communities and equips them with the resources, support and academic skills required for success through high school, college and career.

American Alliance of Museums – The AAM is an accrediting body with a mission to champion museums and nurture excellence in partnership with its members and allies.

American Association for the Advancement of Science – The AAAS seeks to advance science, engineering and innovation throughout the world for the benefit of all people.

Association of Science Museum Directors  – The AAAS seeks to advance science, engineering and innovation throughout the world for the benefit of all people.

Geological Society of America – The GSA is a scientific society serving members in academia, government and industry all around the world.

National Society of Geoscience Teachers The NAGT supports a diverse, inclusive and thriving community of educators and education researchers to improve teaching and learning about the Earth.

Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections – The SPNHC is an international organization devoted to the preservation, conservation and management of natural history collections.

Society of Vertebrate Paleontology – The SVP is a diverse organization of scientists, students, artists, preparators, advocates, writers and scholars who are dedicated to the study, discovery, interpretation and preservation of vertebrate fossils.

TESTING

Education Records Bureau (ERB) – ERB is the only not-for-profit member educational services organization offering assessments for both admission and achievement for independent and selective public schools for PreK-grade 12. It sponsors the Independent Schools Entrance Exams (ISEE). While Webb prefers the SSAT, it will accept ISEE results as a substitute for our admission testing requirements.

Education Testing Service (ETS) – ETS develops, administers and scores more than 50 million tests annually — including the TOEFL and the SAT – in more than 180 countries, at more than 9,000 locations worldwide.

Enrollment Management Association (SSAT) – EMA supports students and families pursuing private school education around the world and is the sponsor of the Secondary Schools Admission Test (SSAT) which is required for admission to most U.S. and Canadian boarding and day schools.

TUITION ASSISTANCE/LOAN PROGRAMS

School and Student Services (SSS) SSS provides the application for financial aid to which most U.S. schools subscribe.
