Professional focus: I teach Advanced Art, which focuses on building our understanding and ability to communicate in a visual/ formal language through collage, photography, drawing and printmaking.

Scholarly or professional activities: I am a working professional artist, exhibiting my work nationally. My work investigates the natural landscape through abstract means. I also work collaboratively with a scientist on work that explores the devastation of climate change. In summer 2022, I traveled to Rome and other parts of Europe to study and begin my next body of work, which will be influenced by the history and place of Rome. I collaborate with an evolutionary biologist on art/poetry that explores climate change.
