Professional focus: I hold a B.A. in English Literature and Theatre from Scripps College. I will be teaching Advanced Studies Global Gender Studies and Honors Global Literature in the fall and Gothic and Horror Literature & Culture and Honors Ethics and Global Affairs in the spring. I will also be assistant directing the fall play and the spring musical.
Scholarly or professional activities: I attended the TABS 2023 Summer Session in Boston, both the NowBoarding and the New Teacher Institute Sessions.
Years as an educator: 2 years, going into my 3rd. This will be my 1st year as a Webb educator
Grew up: I am from La Verne, California. I grew up in and around the Claremont area and love it!
Live on campus: Yes, I am in Appleby.
Favorite spot at Webb: My favorite spot at Webb is the chapel. It is absolutely beautiful!
Favorite music or musician: ABBA or Simon and Garfunkel
Favorite book or author: My favorite book is either Jurassic Park or Wuthering Heights, and my favorite author is William Shakespeare.
Favorite TV show or movie: For movie: Little Women (both the 1994 and 2019 versions!) and Knives Out. For T.V. shows: Succession and WandaVision.
Saturday routine: Drinking coffee, doing some reading, and spending some time outside/exploring
