Webb volunteers recognized by Children’s Foundation of America

The Children’s Foundation of America recognized Webb student and faculty volunteers with the Superhero Squad Award for serving the most group volunteer hours in 2023.

Every Thursday, 16 Webb students and two faculty members drive to a logistics center in Upland to donate their time.

Our volunteers most recently helped pack Fuzzy February packages for children in foster care. Students wrote letters to the children to include with personalized packages of toys or clothing based on individual wish lists submitted to the Children’s Foundation of America.

“It was heartwarming to see the care and dedication our students put into finding what the children wished for,” said Webb teacher and community service adviser Mark Lauer.
