Eric Gu ’26 Chosen to Play Violin Solo at Carnegie Hall
Eric Gu ‘26 was recently chosen to play a violin solo in a Carnegie Hall concert.
Eric performs with the Classical European Music Academy Los Angeles (CEMALA), an all-ages orchestra and violin academy. The orchestra was invited to play at Carnegie Hall in the Symphonic Series for Bands and Orchestras on June 12, 2023.
Eric was assigned soloist for “The Butterfly Lovers,” a famous Chinese violin concerto, by his violin teacher, Ms. Magdolna Berezvai.
