Renowned Vietnamese Author, Dr. Nguyen Phan Que Mai, Visits Campus
On Monday, May 12, Webb was honored to host internationally renowned Vietnamese author Dr. Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai, the author of the global bestselling and award-winning book The Mountains Sing. Quế Mai has spent more than 20 years both living and researching the impact of the Vietnam War and shared first-hand, compelling stories about issues that still affect millions of Vietnamese today with Webb’s students.
Dr. Nguyen Phan Que Mai spoke to Webb's Ethics and American Idea classes. She also met with students during a combined session of the ESVI (Empowering Student Voices Initiative) and AAG (Asian Affinity Group).
