The Future of Learning

Dynamic Education

Pillar #1

Design a Dynamic Education for a New Era

To achieve the goals set forth in The Centennial Strategic Plan, we reimagined a Webb education, creating a dynamic program that engages students in the design of their own education. As we forge our second century, we will build on these innovations, supporting our faculty’s evolving vision and engaging our students in designing a dynamic education for a new era. This program we envision will be nimble and adaptable, fundamentally responsive to a changing world. It will push beyond traditional constraints that confine learning, such as academic disciplines, class periods, and classrooms. It will address the transformative possibilities of Generative AI and other emerging technologies, ensuring we harness the power of these new tools individually and collaboratively while probing questions and fashioning solutions to the ethics surrounding their creation and use. Ultimately, we must inspire and prepare Webb students to enact their curiosity and become ethical leaders who shape and lead our modern world.
