The Future of Learning

Lead from California

Pillar #3

Lead from California

Over the last century, the State of California has grown into the world's largest subnational economy and emerged as a global center of invention and ingenuity. Leading industries in California span technology and artificial intelligence, sports and entertainment, aerospace and space exploration, art and creative design, and life sciences and biotechnology. And California is also widely recognized as one of the world’s leading centers of education and research, not to mention home to diverse natural landscapes and world-renowned state and national parks. Rooted in and shaped by this vibrant state, Webb has emerged over the last century as a premier global institution. We are a thriving and close-knit learning community of accomplished students and alumni, educators, and industry leaders across the state and beyond. In our second century, we will expand our reach and grow our reputation for excellence, ensuring Webb students are actively engaged with the distinctive industries, communities, and resources of the Los Angeles area and beyond.
