Sophie '26 (she/her)
Boarding Student
Hometown: Hong Kong and Shanghai
Campus Involvement: I'm a head prefect at Jones and a BIPOC affinity leader. I'm a member of the Varsity golf team and science research fair, as well as stage manager in the spring musical—in the past, I've also been part of the dance company. I'm in the paleontology research program and I'm currently working on my independent research. Aside from that, I'm also a member of the chapel council and president of the Chemistry club and the Thespians.
Advice for Prospective Students: Always take a stab at new opportunities. A lot of what I'm doing right now are not things I expected myself to do—you never know what you might be passionate about, so don't be the person to deny yourself from new possibilities.
